The Missing Army Major-General Has Been Found.

The Major-General Alkali Idris that was declared missing since on the 3rd of September 2018 has been found.

– The burial was attended by some well-recognized dignitaries of the nation in person of the former Military Administrator of Lagos, Retired Brig.-Gen. Buba Marwa and former minister of Works and Housing, Alhaji Sunusi Dagash

The unending search for the Major General by the rescue team of selected Nigerian army officers were able to find his vehicle and other personal belongings on the 29th of September 2018, but unfortunately he was not found.

Later on, the lifeless body of the general was found inside the Bush in an abandoned well at Guchwet village in Shem Du District of Jos South local government of Plateau on the 29th of October 2018.

The burial, which was attended by the late major-general friends and family members  and other delegates which include Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai, Chief of army Staff and former Military  Administrator  of Lagos and Alhaji  Sunusi  Dagash.

The remains of the late Major General Alkali Idris which was found by the Nigerian army and other team of rescue operation was finally buried at Gudu cemetery in Abuja on Saturday the 3rd of November 2018.

After burial prayer which started at 3pm and was led by Chief imam of  Abuja National  Mosque.

The imam described the dead of the major-general as a terrible lost and also quite unfortunate but however he said “he thanks Allah that his body was found”.
