President muhammadu Buhari visited Ilorin, the capital of Kwara state yesterday promising the people on adequate provision of food security, and the protection of lives and properties.
The president said he make sure he was able to tackle corruption which was the key promise of his 2015 Administration.
Buhari said he was able to achieved food security which has safeguard the country’s economy. As a result of the promise he and his party made in improving economy during his 2015 campaigns. He explained that the people of the Northeast could testify to the achievement of the administration on security, where the Boko Harram insurgency has been abysmally reduced.
The president said the administration was on course in the fight against corruption, and would not give up on the fight.
He said, “We have achieved food security, people are now living well, and we will not stop the fight against corruption. We will continue to invest the money collected from looters in infrastructure development”
Buhari endorse AbdulRahaman AbdulRasak as the governorship candidate of the party in the forthcoming elections by holding and raising his hand and also expressed delight at the massive number of people who thronged the Ilorin Metropolitan Square, venue of the campaign rally.
